IVANOVVERSTEEGARCHITECTURE was set up as a creative collaboration in 2007 by Anna Versteeg and the late Sergei Ivanov.

The practice works across a wide range of projects of varying scales within the architectural, landscape and interior design field.There is no preconceived style. The design of each project develops from a curiosity about place, it's context and the way we can interact with it, embracing life in all its contradictions.

In 2009 Sergei left IVA and moved to the Orkney Islands where he established Papay Gyro Nights Art Festival and focused on his art and curating.

One of the aspects that attracts us to architecture is the various scales one has to deal with. In every project we appreciate the importance of both the “grand gesture” and the small detail, and the intricate connection between envelope and interior & exterior spaces.
